On July 22 MOSTE girls were invited to a field trip at the Museum of Tolerance. We toured the Anne Frank exhibit. Some of the things we saw at the exhibit were: a huge wall with quotes from Anne’s diary, a wall made up of blanket/cloth pieces, and we saw a movie reenactment of Anne’s diary. Another activity we did at the Museum of Tolerance was to hear a Holocaust Survivor speak. Her story touched the audience – hearing the horrible and traumatic things she experienced and saw that happened at the camps where the Jews were being held. We learned many things at the Museum, and hearing the Holocaust Survivor, Elizabeth, speak gave us valuable experience and advice.
