During the week of June 23-27, half of the Class of ’15 attended the first of two MOSTE Essay Boot Camps. The remaining scholars will attend an encore session scheduled for August 4-8. Scholars ended the writing intensive with first, second and third drafts of their essays for both the UC Application and the Common Application, which is used by the majority of private four year colleges.
Joyce met with each scholar individually to review their transcripts and discuss their academic goals for their senior year. Scholars will next meet with their College Coaches over three Saturdays in July and August to begin applications for various free fall fly-in programs presented by private colleges nationally and compiling their college lists.
