Startup UCLA Summer AcceleratorAre you an undergrad who enjoys creating things? Seeing how far and fast you can take an idea?  If so, why work for someone else’s company this coming summer when you can create your own? Startup UCLA’s Summer Accelerator is a ten-week program where UCLA students and recent alumni are provided $5,000, office space, and connections to industry professionals and mentors to work on their early-stage startup. Apply Now!

College to Career Program: C2C is designed to assist students transition from college and obtain a high-rewarding job after completion of their bachelor’s degree. Our College to Career Program is an intensive 1-week FREE session during the summer in which students are constantly engaging in professional development. Following the session, students are paired with a mentor who continue to support their professional development and career goals. We aim to have our participants obtain an internship opportunity or a job position after the completion of the program.

Capital Fellows Programs The Center For California Studies administers four fellowship programs, known collectively as the Capital Fellows Programs. These nationally recognized public policy fellowships offer unique experiences in policy-making and development in each branch of government.

Capital Fellows are placed at some of the highest levels of California state government and assist state legislators, senior-level executive staff, and court administrators with a broad range of public policy issues and projects and are typically given assignments with a significant amount of responsibility and challenges.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) is a nonprofit and nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization, providing leadership development programs and educational services to students and young emerging Latino leaders.

For alumnae: Impact Fellowship The Education Pioneers Impact Fellowship helps turn rising leaders’ skills and passions for social good into new, tangible leadership opportunities that support educational excellence and equity for all students. Designed for strategic, creative problem solvers with experience in data or project management, the program applies Fellows’ skills to a 10-month work placement at an education organization. Fellows also grow their education knowledge and leadership capacity through cohort-based trainings, equipping them with the skills, experience, and network to make a significant social impact on a wide range of professional paths.

For college freshmen: Future global Leaders Fellowship The Future Global Leaders Fellowship annually selects the world’s top first-generation university students and, over the course of a 3-year program, primes them for induction into the Fortis Society – the world’s first private network of diverse leaders committed to one another’s success and to a better world. Applications open November 2017.

Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs:The Fellows Program has equipped emerging Southern California leaders with the resources they need to understand how decisions are made, how complex policies are shaped, and how to influence meaningful change.
