Two teenagers, including a girl wearing a distinctive pink shower cap, have been arrested for taking an empty Queens train on a joyride and crashing it, police said.

The 17-year-olds, both unidentified because they are minors, were arrested Wednesday and charged with criminal mischief and recklessly endangering others in connection with the dangerous Sept. 12 act at the Briarwood subway station, police said.

They are accused of boarding the train shortly after midnight and operating it for a short distance before it crashed, police said.

No one was injured, authorities said.

Days after the crime, police released images of the then-wanted duo strolling through an unoccupied train carriage.

In addition to her hat, the teenager was also wearing a crop top, shorts and a handbag, all in pink, the video shows.

The boy was wearing a blue sleeveless shirt, red shorts and carrying a black backpack.

Police said the girl turned herself in with a family member. Police had no information on how the boy ended up in handcuffs.

It is unclear how the couple managed to board the train or how they were able to access its controls.
