The Knicks’ options if they look to sign a tall player

There’s no need to rehash this, but it’s worth repeating: The Knicks have a big question at center.

We know it. They know it. People around the league — agents, executives, coaches — see it, too.

In a typical Knicks season, this wouldn’t be such a pressing issue, but when expectations are high (when failure is defined as anything other than a conference finals appearance), every piece of the rotation is scrutinized.

There are several ways to successfully address Isaiah Hartenstein’s departure. The first, and easiest, is for Mitchell Robinson to stay healthy, Jericho Sims to take a big step forward and Precious Achiuwa to expertly replace him.
