New York Magazine's DC correspondent Olivia Nuzzi is on leave over an alleged affair with RFK Jr.

New York Magazine's Washington correspondent Olivia Nuzzi has been suspended after allegedly having an affair with former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The couple's romantic relationship was first reported by STATUS news.

Nuzzi “acknowledged to the magazine’s editors that he had had a personal relationship with a former subject relevant to the 2024 campaign while reporting on the campaign, a violation of the magazine’s standards around conflicts of interest and disclosures,” the magazine said in a statement.

According to the outlet, the journalist would have been banned from covering the presidential election if the magazine had been aware of their relationship.

“An internal review of his published work found no inaccuracies or evidence of bias. He is currently on leave from the journal, and the journal is conducting a more thorough external review.

“We regret this violation of our readers' trust,” the magazine added.
