Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend Maxx Morando were spotted on a rare date night
Miley Cyrus had a “Party in America” on Wednesday night.
The singer stepped out for a rare date night with boyfriend Maxx Morando at a Future Islands concert in Los Angeles held at the Shrine Auditorium.
Cyrus wore her hair relaxed, half up, half down, while donning a black sweater and matching black accessories for the event.
Morando, however, let her messy hair flow as she sported a navy Polo Bear cotton and linen sweater from Ralph Lauren, which is currently It sells for almost $400.
Cyrus has reportedly been dating the Lily drummer since 2021 after they met on a blind date.
In February, a source close to the couple revealed that they moved in together and were “very happy” with their relationship.
“Everyone loves Maxx. He’s a great guy,” the source told People at the time. “She’s very happy with him. He’s private and doesn’t like being in the press. It’s been good for her.”
The departure comes shortly after the singer was sued by Tempo Music Investments, an investment platform that claims to own a portion of the royalties to Bruno Mars' 2012 single “When I Was Your Man,” for copyright infringement of her 2023 Grammy-winning single “Flowers.”
The platform claimed in legal documents that the chorus, harmony, melody, chord progressions and lyrics of “Flowers” were “intentionally” taken from the “24K Magic” hitmaker’s song.
It is noteworthy that Mars is not listed as a plaintiff alongside Tempo Music Investments in the filing.
The “Used to be Young” singer won her first Grammy Award for the song in 2024, taking home the gold statuettes for record of the year and best pop solo performance over Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish.
“This award is amazing, but I really hope it doesn’t change anything, because my life was beautiful yesterday,” Cyrus said during her acceptance speech for record of the year.
“Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular, so please don’t think this is important.”
