Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are opening up about their kids.
The estranged couple reunited to attend their children's back-to-school night on Tuesday, according to TMZ.
Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, were reportedly seen “heading” to the event at a Los Angeles-area school where their children are enrolled. Affleck has three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner — Samuel, 12, Seraphina, 15, and Violet, 18 — while Lopez has twins Emme and Max, 16, with ex-husband Marc Antony. Violet recently started her freshman year of college.
The “Jenny From the Block” singer and the Oscar winner “got along really well with each other and were very cordial,” sources told TMZ.
Lopez and Affleck are “a couple who still love each other” and “are embroiled in a love story that has lasted for years,” the sources explained before adding that their children “are the real focus.” The sources also told the outlet that the divorce is still moving forward.
Lopez filed legal papers to end her marriage to Affleck, whom she once called “the love of my life,” on Aug. 20, the two-year anniversary of their second wedding ceremony (the couple officially tied the knot in a July 2022 ceremony at The Little White Chapel in Las Vegas but held a lavish, star-studded reception in Georgia the following month).

The “Atlas” actress and the “Air” director were photographed Arrival for lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel. on Saturday, September 14, with Seraphina, Samuel, Emme and Max in tow.

Although the meeting would have been notable enough on its own, the lunch attracted headlines as witnesses They claimed to have seen J.Lo and Ben kissing and holding hands during the exit.
A source told Page Six that Lopez and Affleck were spotted getting cozy in the hotel's famed Polo Lounge while their kids sat at a separate table.
The family reunion was among the “hot topics” on Monday’s episode of “The View,” with co-host Sunny Hostin expressing concern that Ben and Jen might be sending mixed signals to their children.
“I think it’s confusing for their kids, their blended families, and maybe they’re doing it for their family, you know? And for each other,” Hostin said. “Maybe they’re trying a second time, and then maybe those divorce papers … go away.”
Lopez and Affleck first dated from 2002 to 2004. They got engaged in November 2002, shortly after meeting on the set of their now-famous film “Gigli.” They split in 2004, but the two remained in love for nearly two decades.
The “Love Don't Cost a Thing” singer and the “Good Will Hunting” screenwriter got back together in 2021 and tied the knot in July 2022.
A film they co-produced and in which J.Lo stars, “Unstoppable,” premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) earlier this month. Lopez shined on the red carpet in a revealing revenge-themed dress and later shared an intimate (but platonic) moment with Affleck’s best friend and fellow “Unstoppable” director Matt Damon. Affleck was not in attendance.
