Aidan Hutchinson is the favourite after a good start

There's a new front-runner for NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

After two weeks, Aiden Hutchinson (+400) has taken over the top spot on the DPOY odds board at DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Lions defensive end has been absolutely dominant through two games with 10 total tackles, 5.5 sacks (leading the league) and one forced fumble.

The third-year Michigan product has quickly emerged as one of the NFL's top pass rushers, recording 21 total catches in his first two seasons after being selected second overall in the 2022 NFL Draft by Detroit.

Despite last week's loss to the Buccaneers, the Lions' defense has been much improved thanks in large part to Hutchinson's jump, allowing 20 points in each game through two weeks and just five yards per play.
