Metallica announces 2025 tour with Limp Bizkit. Buy tickets

Metallica are leaving no stone unturned on their ‘M72 Tour’.

Originally announced in November 2022 (!), the Rock Hall of Famers have just added a third year of shows to their ongoing tour in support of their latest record, “72 Seasons.”

This time around, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and company are staging six “non-repeat” weekends (Thursday-Saturday or Friday-Sunday shows with different set lists and opening acts) and six “one-night-only” concerts.

The closest weekend to New York that won’t be repeated will be Friday, May 23 at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, featuring Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills. On Sunday, May 25, the show will feature Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies.

A month earlier, the “Enter Sandman” rockers have a “one-night-only” show scheduled at Syracuse’s JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday, April 19. Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies will be the special guests that night.

According Consequence“These unique concerts promise a full tour production and a massive in-the-round stage set-up.”

In August 2023, the New York Post’s resident metalhead Ryan Murphy attended a pair of ‘M72’ shows at MetLife Stadium and said that “Metallica played everything you’d want to hear without any repetition over the two nights.”

“Even though they were promoting their new album,” he continued, “they played all the fan-favorite songs.”

Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming M72 shows at sites like Vivid Seats, with official on-sale for the 2025 shows starting Friday, September 27.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform and prices may be higher or lower than face value depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee stating that your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
