NFL Week 3 2024 Odds, Predictions and Best Bets by Chris 'The Bear' Fallica

“Bear Bets” are real bets that Chris “The Bear” Fallica is really doing

We're in Week 3 and I've got my sights set on a handful of games.

For those new to this space, if you are looking for some bets to get involved in, National Football League (NFL) Action, I've got you covered. Nothing makes football better than betting a few bucks every week.

We had a .500 record in Week 2, but we're still up on the season.

Last week: 1-1 (Season: 4-3)

(All times are ET)

Sunday, September 22

Eagles @ Saints (1:00 p.m., FOX and FOX Sports App)

This is a buy-on-the-cheap position for the Eagles and that's it. This line has completely changed after the Saints looked dominant in their 2-0 start. The Eagles, on the other hand, have not been very impressive. I'm counting on Philadelphia's offense to keep pace with the Saints, with a chance to win this game down the stretch.

PICK: Eagles (+3) will lose by less than 3 points or win outright

Jeans @ Vikings (1:00 p.m., CBS)

I love both defenses. You know Brian Flores is going to design something CJ Stroud has never seen before, and on the other hand, the Texans defense plays fast and plays in the style of their head coach DeMeco Ryans. That will be a test for Sam Darnold, who might have a Justin Jefferson who is not 100 percent.

SELECTION: Under 46 points scored by both teams combined

Can the Houston Texans beat the Minnesota Vikings on the road?

Lions @ Cardinals (4:25 p.m., FOX and FOX Sports App)

The Lions gave up a lot of points in Sunday's loss to the Bucs, and they can't afford to do that against a Cardinals offense that has looked like one of the best in the NFL. Aidan Hutchinson has a lot of sacks, but beyond that, the Lions' defense has a lot of holes. It figures to be a higher-scoring game, but I love how hard the Cardinals play for Jonathan Gannon, and I give them an excellent chance to pull out the win.

PICK: Cardinals (+3) will lose by less than 3 points or win outright

Bosses @ Hawks (8:20 p.m., NBC)

In Monday night's game, the Eagles lost more than the Falcons won. We'll see how the Chiefs' offense is affected by the absence of Isiah Pacheco. But I find it hard to believe that the Chiefs aren't ready to play a Sunday night game, even after two emotionally charged games to start the season with Baltimore and Cincinnati. The Falcons got the win on Monday night, but my opinion of them being an extremely mediocre team hasn't changed. Unlike the Eagles, the Chiefs have pass rushers, and that means trouble for Kirk Cousins.

PICK: Chiefs (-3.5) to win by more than 3.5 points

NFL Week 3 best bets: Bills vs. Jaguars, Chargers vs. Steelers

Monday, September 23

Jaguars @ Invoices (7:30 p.m., ESPN)

This is my favorite bet on the NFL schedule. While I don't want to bet 5.5 on the Bills on Monday night, I think we're headed for a 28-24 game. The Bills defense suffered some more injuries last Thursday in Miami and struggled against the Cardinals in the season opener. Jacksonville has disappointed so far, but I'm giving the Jags' offense one more chance this week to realize the potential I think it has.

SELECTION: Over 45.5 points scored by both teams combined
