Friends of Dave Grohl’s wife feel sorry for her and wonder if she knew she was cheating on him
Dave Grohl’s wife is leaning on her close friends after the rock star revealed he cheated on her and fathered a baby with another woman; however, a source exclusively told The Post that some believe she may have known about his infidelity long before he confessed.
The source shared that everyone feels “sorry” for Jordyn Blum, who has been married to the Foo Fighters frontman since 2003, adding: “She’s a nice, wonderful woman.”
Even though the world is in shock over his infidelity, which recently resulted in a child, the source said some of those close to him believe Jordyn “knew” Grohl had strayed from their marriage, but was unaware of the extent of it. They also wonder if this was the only time he cheated on her.
The Post has reached out to Grohl’s representative for comment.
The “Monkey Wrench” musician dropped the bombshell earlier this month, revealing his adultery and sharing that he recently welcomed his fourth child, a baby girl.
Grohl already shares three daughters with Jordyn: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
“I recently became the father of a new daughter, born out of wedlock,” Grohl said in his statement. via Instagram On September 10, it read: “I plan to be a loving and understanding father to her. I love my wife and children, and I am doing everything I can to regain her trust and earn her forgiveness.”
“We are grateful for your consideration for all the children involved as we move forward together,” he concluded.
Grohl’s alleged behavior toward the opposite sex has been a problem throughout their 21-year marriage, sources revealed.
“Dave’s flirtatious behavior has been a hindrance to their marriage. It has been detrimental to Jordyn,” sources close to the couple said. He told the peoplerevealing how Jordyn reacted when she found out about the baby.
Not everyone connected to the couple was surprised by the news.
“We keep reading over and over how heartbroken everyone is that Dave was supposed to be the ‘nice guy,’ the rock star who didn’t have to do rock star stuff,” the source said. “And people are crazy about the guy, but there is a rock star side to him.”
Amid the scandal, the Daily Mail alleged that Grohl was “jealous” of Jordyn’s “flirtatious” relationship with her “attractive” tennis coach; however, sources with direct knowledge denied the allegations to The Post.
“There’s nothing going on with his tennis instructor,” our source shared exclusively. “He’s married and his wife is friends with Jordyn.”
Grohl’s wife stepped out on Tuesday, September 17, marking her first appearance since Grohl came out as gay.
In photos obtained exclusively by The Post, Jordyn is seen leaving a tennis lesson with that instructor, and she was not wearing her wedding ring.
This is not the first time she has not worn a ring in recent months.
Jordyn wasn’t sporting her rhinestone when she was photographed with Grohl in August. The pair attended Wimbledon in London together in July and appeared to be in good spirits; however, Foo Fighter reportedly hired a divorce lawyer before telling the world about his son.
Little is known about the baby, but someone came forward and posted a since-deleted photo of a baby and claimed the rocker was the father. After the image circulated, Grohl’s rep told TMZ that the image was fake.
