Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, Leon Draisaitl, Auston Matthews and Sidney Crosby reacted to their NHL 25 ratings in a video with EA Sports NHL.
Matthews, Draisaitl and MacKinnon seemed pleased with their rating, while Crosby seemed surprised to have increased an overall point to 94.
McDavid laughed about his uniform matching his jersey number, but he had a question that every NHL player has been asking for years: why doesn't EA Sports give players a 99 rating, and what is the criteria for getting a 99.
Hopefully, McDavid will rise to 99 at some point this year and players will get a breakdown of how players' overall ratings are determined.
McDavid and MacKinnon are the two highest-rated players in the game, Draisaitl is fifth, Matthews sixth and Crosby ninth.
