'90 Day Fiancé' Star Big Ed Details His Shocking Engagement

“90 Day Fiancé” star Ed “Big Ed” Brown says it was “love at first sight” with his now-fiancée Porscha Raemond, whom he proposed to 24 hours after they met in Plantation, Florida, last Friday.

“So I was there carrying these huge sandwiches with sparklers. It’s crazy. And in comes this beautiful Italian food. Her name is Porscha,” she exclusively tells Page Six host Astra of their first meeting.

“He comes up to me and gives me a really warm hug… He gives me a big kiss on the cheek.”

Brown immediately “hit it off” with his “dream girl,” Raemond, after she came to Capriotti's sandwich shop specifically for him.

“We could feel the sparks,” he recalls fondly.

Brown, who rose to fame on the fourth season of TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days,” says he invited her to dinner at YOLO in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with his friends the following night. It was at that dinner that he decided he wanted to marry her.

Although he didn't have a ring, his friend encouraged him to pop the question.

“I got down on one knee and everyone went crazy. The restaurant was going crazy,” Brown, 59, recalls.

“I said, ‘Look, I don’t ever want to let you go. I think I’ve met the one. I want to marry you. ’ And she said, ‘Yes,’ and we hugged and kissed.”

“We kissed and kissed all night long,” the reality star adds. “I’m in love.”

While Brown confirms that he proposed with a clip-on ring made by the restaurant manager, he tells Page Six that he will eventually purchase a sparkler that matches the quality of Tiffany & Co.

He also says he plans to take the engagement “slowly,” revealing that the two have not even consummated the relationship.

“No, we haven’t done anything other than kissing, French kissing, which is a pretty big deal,” Brown says. “If you’re French kissing someone, that’s pretty big, right?”

And although his family believes the proposal was for “publicity,” he assures Page Six that this is what he is really looking for.

“For me, this was the most real thing that’s ever happened to me. (My family) is freaking out, including my daughter,” Brown says. “But in my heart… I can’t wait.”

The reality TV star shares his adult daughter, Tiffany, with his ex-wife, Sandra Heckman. They separated in 1992 due to his infidelity.

He later got engaged to Rosemarie “Rose” Vega on “90 Day Fiancé” in 2020. After their breakup, he got engaged again to Liz Woods while they were filming “90 Day: The Single Life” in 2021.

However, they We had a difficult relationship after the show. and separated in April of this year.
