Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service 2016

On Saturday, January 16th, MOSTe scholars, mentors and staff honored Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. by participating in a celebratory hike led by our lovely President Mary.  The hike was followed by a MLK Jr. Think Activity/Discussion. The purpose of this activity was to empower scholars, encourage them to strengthen their communities and discuss ways that can move us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a beloved, diverse community. MOSTe believes it’s important to embrace differences and learn to bridge barriers by primarily loving one’s own self and uniqueness! Thanks to all who participated and a big shout out to mentors and PostMOSTe alums for making this day a great educational/fun experience!
