MOSTE Announces Honorees for 2013 Lanterns Luncheon

MOSTE invites all to meet our college-bound students and future leaders at its annual 2013 Lanterns Luncheon Award that each year honors those in the community who have the same passion and goals as we do. Please come or buy a ticket so a student may attend this important event in downtown Los Angeles.

WHAT: 2013 MOSTE ANNUAL LANTERNS LUNCHEON

WHERE: Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles
506 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles

WHEN: April 17th 11:30am-1:30pm

WHO: This year, MOSTE honors two extraordinary people. Hill Harper is an actor, with a current role starring in CSI: NY he runs an organization called Manifest Your Destiny, whose mission is to provide underserved youth a path to personal development and educational excellence. Emmanuel Chiriqu is an actress, known most recently for roles in Entourage and the Mentalist and also a known philanthropist for her work with the humanitarian organization Raise Hope for Congo. As educated and compassionate individuals, both have demonstrated unyielding dedications to our global community, our honorees exemplify the qualities, skills, and principles that MOSTE seeks to develop in our scholars.

WHY: We invite the community to honor MOSTE students, from 7th grade to high school seniors, and validate the important message that their dreams count and that they will succeed.

HOW: Individual tickets are $90 or sponsor a scholar table at $900 each. We have corporate sponsor options at the $1,500, $2,500, $5,000, $7,500, $10,000 and $15,000 level. Or place an ad in our program. It costs $175 to $400, depending on the size of the ad.
